Honoring our Veterans
Saturday, November 11 is Veterans’ Day.
For our nation, it is an opportunity to express our gratitude to those who have served in the armed forces to protect us, our rights, and our many privileges.
Our first President of the United States, George Washington, had this to say about America’s Veterans:
“The willingness with which our young people are likely to serve in any war, no matter how justified, shall be directly proportional to how they perceive the Veterans of earlier wars were treated and appreciated by their nation.”
